Star Wars: The Old Republic is partly based on the movies you might have seen. It it is already played by millions of people world wide. Therefore it is “another” Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, also known as an MMORPG.
SWTOR is made by BioWare and LucasArts, therefore some elements in the game may be recognized by the experienced gamer.
SWTOR was released on 22 of December 2011, it’s scene is set 3,500 years before the movie Rise of the Darth Vader. Therefore some things may seem familiar and others may not.
The rewards in the game are based on gaining credits (the SWTOR currency), experience, items and reputation. This will increase your skills and power through the game.
